In our best Peter Griffin impersonation, “Happy Thanksgiving pilgrims!”
All jokes aside, with Turkey Day in full force, we at All Over The Hill want to take a look at what some of your favorite (or not-so favorite) athletes in D.C. are thankful for.
Us as fans haven’t had much to be thankful for in terms of titles in The District for quite some time, but there have been plenty of feel-good moments, like the Redskins in 2012, the Wizards last season and the multiple playoff runs the Capitals went on with Bruce Boudreau leading the troops.
So, as we give thanks to those who make us cheer and bring us great memories, let’s take a look at what those athletes that are in-season are thankful for.
