In the National Football League, quarterbacks have the ability to win games and do so in stlye.  They receive the fame that accompanies winning big games as well the negativity surrounding defeat.  Donovan McNabb has had his fair share of ups and downs throughout his 13-year career, and made several stops around the League including a year long stint in Washington.  Thursday, McNabb made another trip, this time to an Arizona Jail.

It was reported that McNabb was cited for driving under the influence late in 2013, and finally the news broke after McNabb’s mug shot was released online.  McNabb came to a plea agreement to serve a one-day jail sentence.

McNabb failed to address the issue on his weekly NBC Sports Radio, but information has slowly leaked that the former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback was driving 81mph in a 65 mph zone.  This initiated the contact between the police officer and McNabb leading to the suspicion of intoxication.  In the coming days, more information should continue to surface surrounding the incident, but for now we must approach the situation with caution.

One of major question we must ask is why McNabb was driving?  DUI’s have begun to occur to frequently in professional sports and these star athletes need to abide by the laws.  When you make millions per year, is that difficult to pay for a cab?
