Washington Redskins add ILB Akeem Jordan
By Matthew Laux
The Washington Redskins strengthened their inside linebacker position and special teams even more Wednesday with the signing of eight-year man Akeem Jordan. Jordan was in Redskins Park Tuesday, and the two sides agreed to a deal yesterday. The former chief recorded 67 tackles and two interceptions a season ago.

Jordan has been the latest move in the Redskins attempts to revamp a horrendous special teams unit. Jordan is just 28 and will provide Washington with an excellent high motor player.
The Redskins have addressed several needs throughout the on going free agency period and will continue their momentum into the National Football League’s draft. Washington still has a few holes within the secondary and offensive line and a few more acquisitions should be expected after the first wave of signings has ended.
