Disappointing news out of Washington D.C. this afternoon as Washington Wizards leading scorer Bradley Beal will miss two weeks with a stress fracture in his right leg.  The news comes on a day, when Otto Porter Jr., Trevor Ariza, and Chris Singleton all returned to practice for the first time since training camp.

Beal suffered a similar stress injury that ended his season a year ago, and was experiencing a series of soreness in the lower extremity.   Beal, who is averaging 20.6 points per game, has played exceptional basketball in the early going of his sophomore season.  The University of Florida product has shown great improvement to his all-around game and has become the catalyst for a solid Washington offense.  Beal has led the entire NBA in minutes per game through 13 games and the heavy amount of minutes appears to have taken its toll.  Check out your Wizards, tonight, as Washington will play host to the Los Angelos Lakers.
