Interview: Karl Alzner Talks Division Title, Ovechkin, Oates, Stanley Cup Playoffs

Last night I had a chance to catch up with Capitals defenseman Karl Alzner, and he was in good spirits after clinching the Southeast Division Title on Tuesday night against the Winnipeg Jets. Alzner talked about the game, and also talked about how the Capitals managed to turn their season around after that rough 2-9 start. Alzner also touched on the personalities of Alex Ovechkin and Adam Oates, as well as what it’ll take to beat the Islanders in Round 1 of the playoffs. To hear what Alzner said, watch the video below:
