The Washington Nationals have re-assigned pitchers Bill Bray, Will Ohman, Tanner Roark and Brandon Mann to minor-league camp, MLB.com’s Bill Ladson reports.

Roark and Mann never figured to legitimately compete for a big-league roster spot, though Bray and Ohman figured to compete for the job of lefty specialist on the big league squad.

Bray appears to still have a shot, though the coaching staff wants him to spend some time working on his mechanics. Because Bray doesn’t have an opt-out clause in his contract, the Nationals can afford to re-assign him without risking losing him.

Ohman made his first appearance of the Spring on Sunday against the Cardinals, and though he didn’t get hit too hard all things considered, Davey Johson told Ladson that the team has just run out of spots for these guys at big-league camp.
