When the Washington Wizards were awarded the first overall pick in the 2010 draft, everyone around the league immediately assumed the Wiz would select point guard John Wall.  Most experts viewed Wall as a perennial all-star with MVP caliber potential, but thus far in his career many doubts still remain.  Through the former Kentucky Wildcats first three seasons, many Washington fans didn’t know whether or not Wall would reach to his potential.

Well, I guess the fourth year’s the charm because Wall has been absolutely spectacular averaging 20.2 points and 8.6 assists per game leading all Eastern Conference point guards.  Wall’s candidacy can also be seen in the Wizards improved performance in 2013-14.  The Wizards are 19-19 sitting as the fifth seed if the playoffs were to start today.  Whether or not Wall is selected to participate in the game’s festivities remains up in the air, but for all those Washington Wizards fans vote #WallNBABALLOT.
