The St. Louis Rams struck a deal with the Buffalo Bills to move ahead of the Jets and select West Virginia receiver Tavon Austin. While it seemed like a bit of a stretch, the Ravens reportedly interested in bringing Austin in to play along side Torrey Smith, but this could still be good news for Baltimore. If the Jets decide that it’s not worth picking with Barkevious Mingo (6th overall to Cleveland) and Tavon Austin (8th overall to St. Louis) off the board, they could be inclined to deal either the ninth or thirteenth pick. With Austin off the board, teams could start reaching to draft receivers like Cal’s Keenan Allen or Clemson’s Cordarelle Patterson, so the Ravens could very well still be looking to move up even with Lane Johnson and Austin off the board.
